Kate and Rooney Mara and Tatiana Maslany have read for roles in Gareth Edwards' upcoming standalone Star Wars movie! This is according to The Hollywood Reporter and Variety.
The acclaimed actresses are best known for their roles in House of Cards, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Orphan Black respectively.
The new movie, scheduled for December 2016, will purportedly follow bounty hunters who steal the plans for the first Death Star.
