On Saturday, the BBC officially announced Doctor Who is back on Christmas Day! A trailer dropped following the broadcast of the third and final 60th anniversary special.
Read the official synopsis:
"Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins and perhaps the secret of her birth."
The Church on Ruby Road sees the Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) collide with Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson). This will come as no surprise to eagle-eyed fans (myself included) as the holiday special is part of Season's Streamings on Disney+.
The Doctor Who Christmas special, The Church on Ruby Road, will be aired at 5.55pm on BBC One on Christmas Day in the UK, and available at the same time worldwide on Disney+.
