During the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) tenth-anniversary panel to celebrate Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Lucasfilm announced the award-winning animated series will return in 2019.
The Clone Wars, developed by Dave Filoni, was originally revealed at Star Wars Celebration Europe in 2007 and chronicled the adventures of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Cartoon Network series was cancelled when Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be available on Disney's streaming service next year.
