Netflix teases Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Jurassic Park animated spin-off series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. The latest collaboration with DreamWorks follows a group of six students in a new adventure camp and is set during Jurassic World.



Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, executive produced by Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park) and Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World), is coming to Netflix in 2020.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power teaser trailer

Netflix and Dreamworks are a formidable animation force. From Voltron: Legendary Defender to Trollhunters. The trend continues with the upcoming She-Ra and the Princesses of Power streaming from November.

"She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphan named Adora (Aimee Carrero, Elena of Avalor), who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra. Along the way, she finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil."

Dreamworks has released a teaser trailer.

LEGO Ideas Voltron at SDCC

LEGO Voltron is a thing and will be at this year's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), folks!

Voltron was originally submitted by fan designer Leandro Tayag to LEGO Ideas and follows successful sets based on Doctor Who and Disney's TRON: Legacy.

"It’s time to defend the universe so get ready to form LEGO® Ideas 21311 Voltron, the biggest buildable LEGO mech ever! This awesome set features buildable and highly posable black, blue, yellow, red and green lions with specially designed, extra-strong joints to combine them all and create the Voltron super robot, plus a huge sword and shield that attach firmly to Voltron's hands. Ideal for display or to recreate thrilling action from the original 1980s animated Voltron TV series and the modern DreamWorks Voltron: Legendary Defender series."

SDCC attendees will be able to buy the 2,321 piece set during the convention and then it will be available to LEGO VIP members from 23rd July. As a fan of combiners since Transformers' Devastator took on the Dinobots, I'll be hoping to get this set before it sells out.

Voltron will be sold exclusively at LEGO stores and online (affiliate link) for £159.99 from 1st August.

Netflix teases She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

Netflix continues its tradition of animated reboots in partnership with DreamWorks with She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. The popular streaming service has released a teaser poster for the upcoming series and announced the cast members.



Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor) stars as Princess Adora and her titular alter ego. She’s joined by Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad) as Glimmer, AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs) as Catra, Marcus Scribner (Black-ish) as Bow, Reshma Shetty (Royal Pains) as Angella, Lorraine Toussaint (Orange Is the New Black) as Shadow Weaver, Keston John (The Good Place) as Hordak, Lauren Ash (Superstore) as Sorpia, Christine Woods (Hello Ladies) as Entrapta, Genesis Rodriguez (Time After Time) as Perfuma, Jordan Fisher (Grease Live!) as Seahawk, Vella Lovell (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) as Mermista, Merit Leighton (Alexa & Katie) as Frosta, Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) as Castaspella, and Krystal Joy Brown (Motown: The Musical) as Netossa.

From Eisner award-winning author and executive producer Noelle Stevenson (Lumberjanes, Nimona) and executive producer Chuck Austen (Dawn of the Croods, Steven Universe) comes a modern take on the ‘80s girl power icon for a new generation of young fans. She-Ra was originally a spin-off of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe in 1985 and is available to stream on Netflix.

If the critically-acclaimed Voltron: Legendary Defender is any indication, fans old and new should be in for a treat from Netflix's latest collaboration with DreamWorks.

Netflix is rebooting She-Ra in 2018

For the honour of Grayskull: The Princess of Power is back!

During the holiday season, Netflix exclusively streamed the first half of The Toys That Made Us, an unmissable documentary series looking at Star Wars, Barbie, G.I. Joe and Masters of the Universe, and announced a reboot of She-Ra: The Princess of Power for 2018.

She-Ra: The Princess of Power was a Masters of the Universe spin-off in the mid-1980s when He-Man and friends outsold stablemate Barbie to become the world's number one toy. The She-Ra reboot will be made by DreamWorks with Noelle Stevenson, best known for Nimona and Lumberjanes, serving as executive producer.

The new She-Ra series will stream on Netflix later this year.
