Rick McCallum has, like George Lucas, retired from Lucasfilm following Disney's acquisition of the company.
Say whatever you like about McCallum, who produced the Star Wars prequels and Star Wars Special Editions, but his pioneering work on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and BBC's The Singing Detective was exceptional.
Guess this has nixed the long rumoured Star Wars live-action series and any chance of it appearing on the Disney Channel...
