Pedro Pascal will play the titular character in Jon Favreau's upcoming Disney+ Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian.
Pascal will be joined by an all-star cast including Nick Nolte, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Werner Herzog, Emily Swallow and Omid Abtahi.
“We’re having a great time working with this incredibly talented group and excited for everyone to see what we’re up to,” says Executive Producer Jon Favreau. Dave Filoni (Star Wars Rebels) will direct the first episode.
The Mandalorian is set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens and will stream exclusively on Disney+ in late 2019.
