Apple teases film for Star Wars Day

Apple has teased a film for Star Wars Day. Behind the Mac: Skywalker Sound.

The Cupertino-based company has a storied history with Lucasfilm. From the first Star Wars: The Phantom Menace trailer premiering online in QuickTime to Skywalker Sound effects bundled with iMovie.

Read the official synopsis:

"On May the 4th, go behind the Mac at Skywalker Sound to meet the artists who make the sounds of a galaxy far, far away."

On a personal but related note. In the late nineties, I worked as a studio assistant on BBC Radio 4's The Gemini Apes, directed by Dirk Maggs (The Sandman), starring Sir Christopher Lee (The Wicker Man) who later played Count Dooku in the Star Wars franchise.
