The BBC announced when the second season of His Dark Materials begins, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, following Strictly Come Dancing. It's sooner than fans (myself included) were expecting.
The new season starts Sunday 8th November on BBC One. This is over a week ahead of the US debut on HBO Max. The BBC/HBO co-production is perfect family viewing for long November nights.
