On Monday, Disney dropped an official trailer for Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder.
Director Taika Waititi's (Jojo Rabbit) follow-up to his Thor: Ragnarok looks a lot of fun, with Natalie Portman (Thor: The Dark World) reprising the role of Jane Foster opposite Chris Hemsworth as the titular Avenger, and is in cinemas on 8th July.

I've been a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since its humble beginnings with Iron Man, which I watched with my dad back in 2008.
Marvel Studios has shared an emotive message spanning its movies past, present and future...

"I love being with people,” the late Stan Lee can be heard saying in the voiceover. “It’s the most incredible thing in the world.” It's given further resonance during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and cinema closures.
Whilst this meant Black Widow has been delayed for over a year, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have entertained true believers (myself included) on Disney+.

Fantastic Four is teased
On the day cinemas reopen, as much as I miss seeing movies on the big screen with family and friends, it will be sometime before I set foot inside a multiplex for the first time since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, Black Widow will be in cinemas and available exclusively on Disney+ with Premier Access on 9th July. Excelsior!

Marvel Studios has revealed a running time of 182 minutes for Avengers: Endgame and released two new featurettes.
In the making of Avengers: Endgame, the Russo brothers discuss the advantages of using IMAX cameras for the climactic conclusion of the decade-spanning Infinity Saga.
Marvel Studios has also released a "We Lost" featurette with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). This evokes all the feels for Marvel fans (myself included).
Actress Jaimie Alexander, best known for her role as Lady Sif in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, speaking to the LA Times, sheds a little light on Captain America: Civil War's tie-in to Thor: Ragnarok and her expanded role in the third Thor instalment.
"There’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Avengers [and] Captain [America: Civil War] will have some stuff,” Alexander tells the newspaper’s Hero Complex blog. "There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films.”
Alexander goes on to say,
"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don’t tell me certain things. Because they know I’ll be like, ‘So here's what's gonna happen.’ But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can’t tell you what because I’ll get shot."
Asgardian warrior and lover of Thor, Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) returns to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with a twist this March! Sif is without her trademark armour and has lost her short-term memory.
"Sif has no idea who Thor is or that she serves a king, and we're going to have fun with that," says executive producer Jeffrey Bell. "It'll give us some much-needed humor in a season that's been full of betrayal and death. Sif can't even recall who she came here from Asgard to stop, but Agent Coulson [Clark Gregg] and his team will try to help her figure all that out."

"Dammit, Hydra" Marvel tweeted following the leak of Age of Ultron's teaser trailer ahead of its world premiere during Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next Tuesday. So, it's unleashed the trailer online.
